Music plays a significant part in the life of St John's Cathedral, as in any great cathedral. A mixed voice choir, the Cathedral Singers, sings Evensong at least twice a month and the Cathedral Chamber Choir provides a range of occasional services, concerts and recitals. Outside the liturgy, a series of special musical events is offered. Click here to find out about Music at St John's.

Welcome to St John's CathedralTo seek Baptism for either yourself or for your child is a very exciting thing. Baptism celebrates a new beginning as a member of Christ's body, the Church. When we come for Baptism we are saying "yes" to God's love and desire for us to belong to the community of God's people. To seek Baptism for a child is to say that you want to give them the gift of being part of God's family and to have God involved in their life. If you have any questions or would like to organise a Baptism click the button below to send your details to me.
