St John's Cathedral

St John’s Anglican Cathedral is a wonderful venue for the celebration of a marriage. St John’s is a beautiful Cathedral in the Gothic style and is situated on the edge of the Brisbane CBD. The foundation stone was laid in 1901 and it was completed and consecrated in 2010. The Cathedral with its beautiful stained glass windows, its lofty ceilings and its tall, delicately proportioned columns is the perfect setting for the creation of beautiful memories and gorgeous photographs. It is a sacred space where a couple can exchange their solemn vows in the presence of family and friends and receive God’s blessing on their marriage. We offer a traditional Anglican service with the options of soloist or choristers and/or the ringing of bells to celebrate your special day.
